Normally delivery is early, this time it went to the wire, however this is no slight on the service, the guy that delivered our food was as always very pleasant, food was fresh and hot, lovely as usual. In truth it was worth the wait. Thank you

Never received our order. Ordered last night, waited 20 minutes after delivery time before calling the restaurant to find out it’s closed. So we have had £30 taken out our account and no delivery and no one to talk to resolve this and give our money back.

Another outstanding meal

Portion sizes good. Vegetable pakora was a little undercooked as the contents were a little 'pasty' when biting into it. The Poppadums', though 'free' (a nice touch), were stale, akin to eating soft crisps. The Tika Chicken in both main dishes was horribly overcooked, leaving it dry and chewy. The nan Breads, Plain & Peshwari, were a good size though again felt and tasted if they had been reheated rather than cooked fresh as they were cardboard like in texture. The Lahori curry sauce was tasty.

Great tasting fare from Saffron Tandoori once again. Went for the Set Meal for 2 option - Chicken Bhoona and Chicken Tikka Jaipuri, 2 of our favourites - . Delivered earlier than expected too which was a bonus! Also turned out cheaper ordering on their own website rather than with Just Eat!

Brilliant food, always hot when delivered, delivered quicker than estimated, the guy who delivered our order was as always very pleasant. Without a doubt, our favourite go to takeaway.

This is the second time I’ve used this takeaway since it changed it’s name, don’t know if there will be a third, on first visit I got a curry rice and nan bread and that was edible but quite average compared to others I’ve tried, on second visit I thought I would try a calzone, big mistake, this was not a calzone it was more like a doner and chicken pizza folded in half, tiny squares of chicken like it had been bought in frozen by the bag full, and it tasted vile, I’ve had mixed calzone at other local places and it contains large chunks of real chicken tikka, doner meat, mushrooms, onions, and peppers, and was in a proper calzone box, this effort consisted of false chicken, and doner meat, in a flat 10” pizza box, and was also more expensive than others, with half the contents.

The lamb tikka was not edible. It was way too hard and salty. I could not even chew small pieces. Delivery was 20 mins late

I chose dhansak and the website pop-up gave me a choice of Madras or Vindaloo. I didn’t think I had a choice so chose Madras as being less spicy. I couldn’t eat the food. I took a couple of mouthfuls and it was so hot it upset my stomach all night. (And I eat curries all the time.) I was actually charged £1 for ‘madras style’ so apparently it was optional. I was charged £4.50 delivery and .50p ‘service charge’ and 10p for the carrier bag. It was £32 for two carry out meals, one of which was inedible. I’m British. Madras and vindaloo are not normal options on a dhansak. If I want to die I’ll choose Madras separately. Remove this pop-up.

Food was nice except chips were reheated and dry and didn’t get popadums in the other order tonight or icecream but other than that it was good
